Rain Glow is a single, one hour track designed for relaxation, meditation, deep focus and even sleeping. Bowed pianos, textured cellos, choirs, horns, melodic piano, a warm analog bass and an engineered thunderstorm gel together to take you on a journey of inner peace.

Some compositional highlights and notes:

The track is exactly 60 minutes long and will loop seamlessly in any music player.

There is a piano hit exactly every minute.

The rain starts 1 minute in hidden beneath the texture of the cellos. It's soft and in the distance, but you can hear it if you listen closely.

The thunder starts in the distance and is less frequent. It slowly moves overhead becoming more frequent and clear.

You are not fully in the storm until 10 minutes in. At this point it is directly overhead.

The intro theme will come back.

The analog bass is performed with a Moog Subsequent 25. It's a one hour live recording — the cutoff filter is opened slowly with the movement of the horns. Listening in your car and feel the rumbling? That's me giving you a hug letting you know everything is gonna be ok. The texture of the bass makes itself more present throughout the middle of the piece, but you will feel it very early on.

The deep listening is there, but there is also space. If you find that space, listen for the extra thunder crash, the movement of the rain or the reflections of a bowed piano. Something is always moving. While I don't expect people to deep listen to this piece, the real intention is to provide a warm bed for your mind and heart. Something to make you feel like you've been wrapped in a blanket and can safely let your thoughts soften allowing you to focus on whatever it is you need to focus on.
